A Final Farewell....

Hi everyone, just a final note to say that as of Monday, Craftbugs will cease to be live on the net. As many of you know I am opening my own felt-making shop on the 2nd March, therefore I have a new blog and will be focusing my attentions there.

A new direction and an exciting project.

Hi everyone,

just a heads up, that I will soon be closing the Craftbugs Blog!!! fear not though, for I have a new blog and will be taking my art in a new direction.

My new blog is called Handmade by Tigerlily and you can read full blog details of this new venture over at the Handmade blog.

Fun Templates Workshop Monday 18th February 2010

Hi everyone,

just thought I would give you all a heads up about Mondays Workshop at C.O.W.

Come and learn how to create your very own shaped templates to create fun and truly handmade embellishments for your greetings, cards, scrap pages, 3d objects and other paper crafted projects.

In this class you will learn how to create your very own flower and butterfly templates to take away with you to create further projects. You will also go home with two completed cards with your newly created designs.
This is a class for all abilities, no experience necessary all materials and equipment is provided. Come and join us for fun, laughter, tea and cakes and let’s get creative.

Festive Christmas Door or Wall Wreath

Hi everyone, well this is the last in the festive series of decorative items for your home and celebrations. Pictured above is a Christmas Wreath which could be hung on an internal door or your wall. I was going to do a wreath with nestabilites that I had been taught at a Your Touch of Craft Workshops early this year but found it was a bit too spring like so after lots of playing around and looking at Real Wreaths with real foliage... this is what I came up with.

Wrapped carefully after the festive season in acid free tissue paper and a box this wreath will become a timeless piece to be brought out year after year. Alternatively you could make a fresh one each year to compliment your festive colour scheme.

Festive Cracker to pull or simple decorate your tree...

Made simply and as big or small as you would like, simply choose your mat size and create a scene using Bo Bunny St Nick Rub-on's
